Irma went through, but conjunctivitis and garbage remain
Nine day after hurricane Irma went through, many streets in Gibara remain filled with debris and garbage. This brings with it the spread of disease. Conjunctivitis is one of the diseases hitting the population. Health authorities do not do anything about it.
The amount of garbage and debris on the streets is an example of the negligence and incompetence of bureaucrats and their bosses, who are busy with affairs that do not determine the people’s well-being and health.
